[image 5 500x500]The
Legal Bootleg Series *DVD of 21 July 1985 Bloomsbury Theatre (pfb802)* is finally ready and may well have arrived in some mailboxes by the time you read this. Featuring fan-shot footage of Wire's second gig of the ’80s with an improved soundtrack - mixing board audio combined with camera sound and a third source give a more rounded sound than any of those individual sources would give - the video footage shows ’80s Wire at a totally formative stage. To the uninitiated the DVD is the extra item available only to subscribers to the full first Legal Bootleg series and not only features Video of the show but a data section with the audio as wav & mp3. The DVD itself comes presented simply in a polybag.

However we are also providing printable PDFs of cover art for the series to date. These will fit into a standard jewel case and will enable the discerning fan to make up "physical" versions of this series (we are already providing flac files as standard to all subscibers to aid in this).

Adam ScottWe have finally decided that Wire needs its own band page on
Facebook. We are also one of the first independent artists to have been offered a band page on the new iTunes
Ping platform. All friends, followers, likers & fans welcome!
*Ratingerhof - history*
The illustrator & writer
Ralf Ziegermann has published a history of the (in) famous Ratingerhof Club in Dusseldorf, a club which Wire played (as the first ever non-German band) in
1978. Both Graham & Colin have contributed memories, and the book, which is mainly in German, comes lavishly packaged in a tin box each one containing a facsimile of the original "ticket" for that Wire show (a beer mat). Read more about it
HERE.
